Hypnotherapy is suitable for a range of issues including anxiety, self-esteem, phobias, pain management and addiction. It can help individuals resolve issues related to emotions, thoughts and behaviours and I work with people to achieve their goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Hypnosis is a naturally-occurring state (a bit like day-dreaming) and it allows you to shift your attention from what is going on around you to what is going on within you. Hypnotherapy can help you access more of your own internal resources, allowing you to process beyond the constraints that tend to exist within our conscious thinking.
My training in Hypno-Psychotherapy means that I can also draw on a number of approaches and techniques to help meet your needs at a deeper level. I believe that we all have access to the inner resources we need to thrive but sometimes, we need support to identify, access and benefit from these resources. As your therapist, I will support you along your own personal journey and provide a safe space to explore whatever you need to help you move forwards.

Hypnotherapy is the clinical application of hypnosis and can be used to help clients resolve issues related to emotions, thoughts and behaviours. Many of our resources and memories are stored in our unconscious and hypnosis can help us access these more easily, allowing us to draw upon more of our unconscious processes to resolve issues and overcome challenges. You are in control the whole time and people generally find it a very relaxing experience.

Hypnotherapy sessions last for 50 minutes and my hypnotherapy services are currently available both online (via Zoom), so you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home or face-to-face at Treat-Norwich.
Your first appointment will be an initial consultation of 45 minutes. This allows you to ask any questions you may have, ensures that I can understand what you are looking to achieve and provides the opportunity for us to discuss effective ways of working together. Following this initial consultation, if you decide to come for hypnotherapy, I will continue to review how we work together each session and ensure the approach is always collaborative.
Depending on your goal, the length of your therapy will change. While some individuals only need a few sessions of hypnotherapy, others may benefit from a longer process - I will always tailor the number of sessions to you as an individual and what you're wanting to achieve.
